New Welfare notice, From the bali Swing.

Post by Buzz » Sat Jul 07, 2018 11:24 am

Hi members; we have an unfortunate incident to report.

Jan Munday who attends the Perth Branch with her husband Alan,
tripped on a drain grate in Bali, & broke BOTH her wrists.
After checking with the Medical help available in Bali,
Jan returned to Perth, & good old Royal Perth Hospital.
Both wrists were operated on, & Jan is now back at home in Tammin,
with her husband Alan to care for her.
The moral of this story is; check the small print on your insurance policies,
as you may not be covered.

Jan is home, & nearly 3 weeks later, able to laugh a bit!!.
A plate has been inserted in her right wrist, & she now has a smaller splint on,
enabling more use of her right hand.
The left wrist still has a proper cast on it.
Jan is hoping to get back to work in 3 weeks,
& be able to drive her automatic car.
We Ulyssian members all wish her well.
