Bikes of Britain

. . Continuing an occasional series in a look at motorcycling and motorcycles around the globe. This time the Bikes of Britain. I’ve been in London for a few days and I’m disappointed so far with what I’ve seen, or more correctly, haven’t seen. From my observations so far, the Poms don’t seem to hav...

. . Bill, A truly epic journey, worthy of Odysseus (aka Ulysses). Well done! They make movies in Quorn: Russell Crowe’s “The Water Diviner”, Guy Pearce’s “The Rover” and Stan’s “Wolf Creek” was filmed in and around Quorn in mid 2017. So, you were looking for Mick Taylor in all the wrong places. Ah y...

Re: Stick Coils

. . Bill. It has been said, that: beauty in things exists merely in the mind which contemplates them. Or, said another way: beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Can you believe it, there are actually people who see beauty in the form of the Kawasaki ZRX motorcycle. Isn’t that amazing! I think there...

Stick Coils 2

. . Bill, Good work! It's good they fit in: not too long, not too short but just right. 'Tis true, I did buy similar coils and they came with my GTR1400. Lots of other sexy stuff also came with my GTR, such as: ABS; traction control; gobs of power*; an adjustable screen; let me count the ways**. Div...

Ride to the AGM 2018

Hmm . . . very interesting.

I too bought some of these calipers, they were attached to my 1400.

Anyway, I prefer twin leading shoe breaks.

My latest acquisition has them:

When too much motorcycling is barely enough!

This pic from Glennson who is slumming it skiing in Nozawa Onsen in Japan.

How do you navigate snow covered mountain paths on your bike in Japan?

With the help of a snow chain of course 😊
