Re: Brakes upgrade

They sit a bit lower than the Tokicos, ie centre of gravity is slightly different.

Next:

Refill brake fluid and bleed the brakes.
Ride, bed the brake pads in.

Brakes upgrade

I'm in the process of upgrading the OEM Tokico brakes on my '02 ZZR1200. I have always found braking on this bike to be underwhelming and less than satisfactory, even with braided lines, new pads, etc. I intend to fit a set of NISSIN calipers, from a Concours (GTR1400). To do this, I bought a set of...

Thanks Buzz and Luke for making your place available. You went to a lot of trouble over this.
It was a good night, with just the right amount of people there.
Food was excellent.

All up there were 11 of us. It gave us a chance to talk about all the others.

I went to the liquor store on Tuesday afternoon on my bicycle, bought a bottle of Scotch, and put it in the bicycle basket. As I was about to leave, I thought to myself that if I fell off the bicycle, the bottle would break. So I drank all the Scotch before I cycled home. It turned out to be a very ...
