15-16 March:-      A deputation from Joondalup went to Geraldton on a fact finding and liaison visit. While in town, the JUG met with the Geraldton-Greenough bunch to discuss tactics for the up coming Odyssey.  By all accounts received, all was successfull. Some how Agness Kookaburra made it into the local news paper. Look here for the article.

Odyssey Site is at the Geraldton Camp School, 347 Chapman Rd Geraldton WA 6530.

The site is 4 Ks north of Geraldton.

09 May 08:- Registration form is nearly complete, and will be out in a couple of days.

Accommodation list will be updated shortly,

15 May 08:- Registration for is finalised, and is ready for download and completion. Those people planning on tenting at the camp school  (HQ) please confirm your booking with the JUG, and include the camping fee with your registration.

Accommodation list has been updated.

04 Jun 08:- For those wishing to hire a bus to move between accommodation and Odyssey HQ, the details are

Highway Autobarn Cnr 8th st and NW Highway. Contact  Brendon Bilbe on 99644476. They have 14 seater busses, @ $130.00 per day (about $9.30 per head ) (LR licence required) a 12 seater for the same price, car licence . They may have a Coaster available @ $180 per day.

Highway Autobarn are also making available a Bike recovery trailer for any one unfortunate enough to need assistance. Contact Angus Kukara on 0414456045 for assistance, if your own Autoclub/insurer are unable to recover or are closer to Geraldton than Perth. Put the number in your mobile for Justin Case.

Coffee and tea is available free at Odyssey HQ for those needing a lift during the day.

Live Bands "Morseby Rangers and Shivoo" will be providing the entertainment (well some of it) as well as that international troup , "The Odyssey Dancers"

Footy on the Big screen on Saturday arvo.

Catering is by the Staff at the Camp Schjool, and by reports is excellent. Drinks available for sale, provided by the Geraldton/greenough Rotary Club (Light n Mid strength beer, bottles red n white whine, some pre-mixed drinks)

Saturday will have two rides organised, one to kalbari and another to Chapman Valley. Sunday will have parade ride through Geraldton, terminating at the car show for the show n Shine (prizes awarded during Sunday night festivities, along with the Skit and raffle draws. The major raffle has Scooter ($2600 worth ) and a Waeco CDF35 car fridge (great on the Goldwing, OKish on the ZZR1100, but Harley?? Dont thunk so :) )
