Western fringe wheat-belt ride

Leaving East Perth as normal we’ll follow Great Eastern Highway up Greenmount, through Mundaring, El Caballo and Bakers Hill till we reach Clackline.  At Clackline we’ll turn right and follow Clackline-Spencers-Brook road to Northam where we’ll have morning tea at the newly renovated Dome.

After our caffeine fix our route is  to Beverley via York following the Spencers-Brook-York road / Avon Terrace / Great Southern Highway.  We’ll arrive in Beverley about 12.45 for lunch at The Red Vault.  After much merriment we’ll leave Beverley about 1.45pm to make our way to The Lakes.  Expect to be at The Lakes by about 2.30pm to make your own way home.  Ride protocols will finish at The Lakes.

This will be a relatively relaxed / cruzy ride – not too far, good scenery and interesting roads with no awkward corners, intersections or turns.

Its about 250k from East Perth to The Lakes.  For those with small  fuel tanks, that cannot make it to  the Lakes, we will stop for a top up in Northam straight after morning tea.

And I’ve put in a request for perfect weather.
