How Green Was My Valley

23 July 2023 @ 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

A bigger than Ben Hur production

The countryside is green again and canola is flowering.  So it’s time to take a break from hibernation and head to the hills.

The Plot – here it is!  Be there or be square!

Pre-production – Ride briefing at EP for 9 a.m. departure

Production – a fairly standard zap though to Beverley for morning tea (135kms), some back roads via Grass Valley to Toodyay for lunch (another 135kms)

Post-production – usual feast at Toodyay bakery

Distribution – After lunch, no doubt the usual scattering will take place.  Head home from Toodyay, or explore a road or two back to Bullsbrook with the ride leader (another 78kms)

East Perth to East Perth for those who forget to head home is 350 or 400 kms, depending on whether to take the Toodyay chicken out or play follow the leader.

Guests are welcome.

Members who live SOR may wish to join the ride at the Puma at the corner of Brookton Highway and Canning Rd, Kurragullen.  If so, please be ready for a 9:30 departure, and enjoy the sleep-in.

In the event of inclement weather, the event may be cancelled or shortened – keep an eye out in the club calendar and Facebook group
